New theming on all portals

 

From this release of TRIMIT portals – B2C, B2B and Sales Agent are sharing the same theming which is configured differently between the portals (due to each portal specifics). This means that now these portals have similar design, look and feel, user experience and placement of controls which, e.g. B2C user can recognize on B2B or Sales Agent. This should nevertheless simplify the design maintenance for developers.

Also, similar look and feel between portals is reflected on mobile devices. As an example, now page header on all portals looks similar having the same controls like e.g. category section, search field, new order, wish list (shopping list) and basket controls.

 

Campaign pricing on all portals

Campaign prices on all portals has been redone. Now B2C and B2B webshops and Sales Agent portal have following default campaigns: “Price list”, “Mix and Match” and “Get one for free”. It is also possible to customize default campaign price stickers which are shown on specific products on category list pages.

New order flow on Sales Agent

TRIMIT Sales Agent has got a new order flow approach where the user gets a look and feel on start new order. There has been added a new side pop-up menu where is it possible to select customer and order type and then ship to address, if applicable. By using a side pop-up menu instead of showing new pages we tried to achieve a look and feel for a user to not visit several new pages prior to start new order. And thus to improve user experience.   

Simple Check-out

B2C webshop has got a single checkout page which includes the info fields for bill to address, delivery options and gift cards and vouchers section. Simple checkout should improve a user experience and give a feeling that customer does not have to do too many clicks to submit the order.

Persisted basket improvement (Custom table)

From this release all the B2C basket info is saved in the separate Modelyn table. Before in time B2C basket data was saved in single big Modelyn table. Moving basket data to a separate table should give more stability to the system and should decrease amount of potential deadlocks especially during data synchronization between B2C webshop and TRIMIT Business Central.

Improved promoted items management (new list UX)

There has been improved a look of promoted items placement section. Also visualization of promoting products under different catalogs is now available which makes better general look and feel.

Extended texts on item level (item before master if any)

This release includes a feature which enables showing extended text from item level first (if any) and then to show a master level extended text. In contrast to previous solution where only master extended text was shown on both item and master levels.

 

Injection points for Collages

All three main portals Sales Agent, B2B and B2C webshops have got so called injection points for collages. This means that the old promoted areas on portals will be replaced with collages, which should enrich the overall user experience. In this release promoted areas and collages can be used in parallel. Collage can be used on such areas as top and bottom of category and product pages, submit and order confirmation pages. Also for specific categories and products or in general.

PIR master admin overhaul

There was made a review of design and functionality together with fixing minor bugs on master admin page in PIR. Among others there was redone the look and feel for Description and Extended Text dock to make it easier to see a different language translations.

Upload order type images in PIR

From this release it is possible to upload all order type images in one please in PIR. It is possible to see what order types are missing images no matter to which portal the order type is related. Order type image deleting is also possible from this page.

Cookie warning added to B2B and SA

Cookie warning setup was added to B2B webshop and Sales Agent portal. This gives possibility to enable or disable showing cookie warning on these TRIMIT portal. Also, via the soft admin, it is easy to setup needed details in regards to collection of customer cookies.
